Energy-efficient LED lighting for modern logistics processes.

Gebrüder Weiss has worked with Zumtobel to upgrade the lighting systems at multiple sites with sustainability in focus. Through the use of efficient LED technology, both power consumption and CO₂ emissions have been significantly reduced. The new lighting solutions actively contribute to the company's climate strategy and support the goal of operating more sustainably – entirely without any loss in lighting quality.

Optimum lighting conditions for productivity and safety

Zumtobel lighting solutions offer uniform, glare-free illumination of entire halls. This does not only enhance visibility for staff, but also boosts workplace safety in the warehouse and logistics areas. Particularly when it comes to high-bay racking technology, a well-thought-out lighting design is essential - Zumtobel ensures precision down to the last rack.

Intelligent light control for maximum efficiency

In order to adjust the lighting as needed, Zumtobel integrated modern sensor technology and smart control solutions into the lighting concept. Motion and daylight sensors ensure that the light is only turned on where it is truly needed. This further reduces power consumption and makes the overall system particularly efficient – a benefit for the environment and operating costs.

Traditional technology meets modern LEDs

Zumtobel developed a special luminaire for the foyer and the cloakroom leading to the concert hall. It is a hybrid luminaire with a handmade fluorescent tube and an RGB LED module. Via a DALI interface, both components can be controlled independently of the other. While the conventional fluorescent tube provides general lighting, the LED module enables any desired colour to be set according to the event, thereby creating an emotional effect lighting in the area.

"With Zumtobel, we have found a partner that perfectly supports our vision of sustainable, efficient logistics. The new lighting solutions combine environmental awareness with top lighting quality — at all of our sites."
